Skyrocketing NHL PLAYOFFS Engagement for the Montreal Canadiens and Edmonton Oilers in association with Ford

Unprecedented times call for innovative solutions. Cinco partnered with Ford Motor Company to create exciting Virtual Experiences to keep fans engaged during the NHL Hockey Playoffs. The hybrid live and online experiences consisted of Zoom viewing parties during each Playoff game to keep fans involved and buzzing. We implemented the use of revolutionary technologies like WebAR to create Virtual Fan Masks and Social Media Holograms which enabled fans to access Augmented Reality experiences on their mobile phones without having to download an app. The Megafanford social media community was also engaged to enjoy in-game live interactions, Q&As, contests, and live digital activations throughout the Playoffs. The Frontline Workers Recognition Program boasted Ford’s Habsmobile on the move throughout the city honoring first responders with endless fun and prizes.
